Hi all,

February is the time in the Salvation Army calender when we focus on the work of the SA overseas. At the beginning of March we have a collecting in our churches and the money that is donated through Self-Denial is not just about the short-term need but about giving countries hope into the long-term, by pro-actively carrying out projects and providing the basic elements (i.e. building, training and vehicles infrastructure) Partner countries need to build a foundation for their work to continue and grow into the future.

The power point is an introduction and will try and get more on over the weeks (depending on when our baby comes).

We have been looking at healing over the last few weeks and this week we had opportunity to receive healing. We also spent time praying for others in our church who need healing and for healing for those in Haiti. The power point is posted on here as well.

Reading was taken from Matthew 8 v 5 to 13.

Sunday night we looked at what the point/purpose of healing was in our world today. Next sunday there will be a chance for people to recieve healing and prayer for those that need healing. The bible reading was taken from Mark 10 v 46 to 52.
